Founded in 1948 by Sufi Muhammad Shafi, our factory stands among Pakistan's oldest licensed arms and ammunition manufacturers. The dealership and factory licences, granted by the British authorities during the partition era, laid the foundation of a legacy built on craftsmanship, precision, and reliability.
Carrying forward the heritage of the renowned "Sufi Aslay Walay," we combine traditional gunsmithing expertise with modern technology, strict quality control, and safety standards. Each product is carefully inspected for accuracy, performance, and compliance with all regulations.
While many private factories across Punjab have closed, we continue to operate with the same dedication that has defined our name for over 75 years.

In Pakistan's private sector, Sufi Muhammad Shafi & Sons is the only manufacturer producing 12-gauge cartridges (kartoos). The only other producer nationwide is Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) under the government sector, giving us a distinct and trusted position as the sole private producer of 12-gauge cartridges in the country.
